Poll Results: MyAsthmaTeam Members Share Their Top Frustrations With Childhood Asthma

Written by Manuel Penton, M.D.

While great treatments for asthma exist, the condition can still be frustrating for many children and adults. In 2022, more than 1,000 caregivers in the MyAsthmaTeam community let us know which lifestyle changes caused by asthma were the most irritating for their children.

In the results below, you can see that “Difficulty sleeping” was listed by over a third of all people who responded to the poll. It was the most common frustration for kids with asthma. The second most common answer was “Limitations on which activities they can perform,” chosen by over 20 percent of parents who took the survey.

When living with asthma frustrates your family, as a caregiver, you can continue to rely on the community at MyAsthmaTeam for support.
